Matching Kapp Lunar Flux™ for Hard Soldering Aluminum and Diecast using Alumite™ Solder
Kapp Lunar Flux™ powder has been designed specifically for soldering casted Aluminum, Diecast, Zamak, White Metal and Pot Metal using Alumite™ solder. Residue is electrically conductive and slightly corrosive. Any flux residue should be removed with warm water or alcohol and a clean rag. Lunar™ flux will char at temperatures above 800°F. DO NOT OVERHEAT FLUX.
Matching Kapp Lunar Flux™ - 3 oz powder
The bag contains enough flux for any of the following kits: Kapp Alumite™ Hobby Kit, Kapp Alumite™ Craftsman Kit, Kapp Alumite™ ShopMaster Kit, or Additional Kapp Alumite™ Rods by the Pound. The powder is mixed with rubbing alcohol to make a paste that is applied to the area to be soldered. Only moisten as much flux as you need to do the task at hand. Keep the rest of the powder dry to maintain fresh flux until you need it.
