KappZapp3.5A™ Acid-cored Solder

KappZapp3.5A™ Acid-cored Solder is a convenient solder for most Copper, Brass and Stainless Steel plumbing and sheet applications. The center of the solder contains an acidic flux. When the solder is heated, the flux is released and removes the oxide coating to allow a strong bond to form. No additional flux is usually required when using KappZapp3.5A acid-cored solder. However, some extremely polished high Chromium and high Nickel Stainless Steel alloys are best soldered with solid wire KappZapp™ solders and separate matching flux. The flux residue can be is removed with warm water and a clean rag or by flushing with water.

KappZapp3.5A™ melts completely at just 430°F (221°C). This minimizes the heat applied to dissimilar metals and thin tubes.
